  • Enable Wi-Fi: Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on your iPhone. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

Keep Devices Close:

  • Proximity: Ensure your Apple Watch and iPhone are close to each other, ideally within a few feet.

2. Restart Both Devices

Restart Your iPhone:

  • Restart: Hold down the power button (or the volume up and side button on newer models) until you see the slider, then slide to power off. Once off, hold the power button again to turn it back on.

Restart Your Apple Watch:

3. Reset the Connection

Forget the Apple Watch on Your iPhone:

Pair Again:

  • Re-pair: Hold your Apple Watch close to your iPhone. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair them again.

4. Check for Connection Issues

Airplane Mode:

  • Disable Airplane Mode: Ensure that Airplane Mode is turned off on both your iPhone and Apple Watch. You can find this in the Control Center.

Network Reset:

  • Reset Network Settings on iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings.

5. Force Restart Both Devices

Force Restart iPhone:

  • iPhone with Face ID: Quickly press and release the volume up button, then the volume down button, and then press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.
  • iPhone with Home Button: Press and hold both the Home button and the side (or top) button until the Apple logo appears.

Force Restart Apple Watch:

  • Force Restart: Press and hold both the side button and the Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
