Unlocking Device Policy

This document outlines the policy for device unlocking on the Plug Mobile network.

Devices Purchased from Plug.tech

Unless otherwise clearly stated and posted on the product page and product title, all mobile devices purchased from Plug.tech are already unlocked. You can activate these devices on the Plug Mobile network or any other compatible carrier without needing to follow any unlock procedures.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

If you are bringing your own device to the Plug Mobile network, it must be unlocked by your previous carrier before you can activate it. Plug Mobile cannot unlock a device that was purchased from another carrier. You will need to contact the carrier or manufacturer that originally sold you the device to have it unlocked.
