Resetting or Restarting Your MacBook

Restarting Your MacBook:

  1. Using the Apple Menu:

    • Step 1: Click the Apple menu () in the upper left corner of your screen.
    • Step 2: Select "Restart" from the dropdown menu.
    • Step 3: Confirm that you want to restart your MacBook. Your MacBook will close all open applications and restart.
  2. Using the Power Button:

    • Step 1: Press and hold the power button until a dialog box appears.
    • Step 2: Select "Restart" from the options. If your MacBook is unresponsive, continue holding the power button until it shuts down, then press the power button again to turn it back on.

  5. Reinstall macOS:

    • Step 2: Select "Reinstall macOS" and click "Continue."
    • Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall macOS. This will install a fresh copy of the operating system.
  6. Set Up Your MacBook:
