A10 vs. iPhone 11: What's best in 2022?

In 2022, we'll have the hottest iPhone 11 with a 10-pin connector. And we'll have the a10. The iPhone 11 has a big A10 chip. But is this better than an A11? It's hard to say. iPhones naturally have a lot of costly components inside them. Keep reading to find a10 vs. iPhone 11; what's better in 2022!

The iPhone 11 was released by Apple on September 3rd, 2019, with various new features. The device offers a flexible card system to switch between Apple Pay and other cards easily. A new facial scanning system provides better security and a more user-friendly experience for biometric technology.

Samsung Galaxy A10 vs. iPhone 11 crash course

Recently, one of the most popular smartphone releases was the iPhone11, introduced with a colossal bang last September. Its wireless charging and fancy camera lenses offered a whole new level of functionality to smartphones. However, it's expensive and has problems handling low light and decent battery life. The entry-level model is still flawed as well.

The iPhone 11 is Apple's most expensive and top-end smartphone released thus far. It costs more than a mid-range smartphone like the iPhone XS Max but is cheaper than its predecessor. The iPhone 11 also comes with a larger display than the iPhone XS but is taller and broader than its predecessor. The iPhone 11's camera has a wider lens angle than the previous iPhones.

Powerful processor

The Galaxy A10 has an Exynos 7 Octa 7884 processor. The A10 also offers either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. This octa-core processor is built on the 14nm process and has eight ARM Cortex-A73 and A53 cores. It's a mid-range chip but capable of playing the latest mobile games – with the right specs in place.

The iPhone 11 has an Apple A13 Bionic processor. The iPhone's latest flagship also offers a choice of 3GB or 6GB. Despite being built on the 7nm process, the A13 is a 64-bit processor with eight Cortex A50 cores. These are geared to be more efficient at handling AI tasks but still powerful enough for gaming and other processor-intensive applications.

Camera

iPhone 11's camera

The iPhone 11 has a 12MP, f/1.8 primary camera with a wide-angle lens that can record video at up to 60 frames per second in 4K and 1080p resolution at 240 frames per second for slow-motion. Image quality is decent but not great. It doesn't take too bad photos, but the color quality is inconsistent, and there is some rolling shutter effect when taking pictures of fast-moving subjects or panning quickly with the camera.

Another issue is the lack of optical zoom. You can only digitally zoom in up to 2X. When you're taking a photo of something far away, like a building or a person on the street, the zoom won't be able to do much. The images will be pixelated and blurry. And one more issue is the video stabilization, which is pretty bad. It's not as shaky as the Samsung S10's Super Steady mode, but it still has a lot of jitters.

If you want to film something with the iPhone 11 and then watch it on another phone or computer, you will notice that the video is shaky and hard to watch. That's why camera lenses are so crucial for smartphones nowadays, especially with social media apps like Instagram and Snapchat becoming more popular for videos instead of photos only.

A10 Camera

iPhone 11's biggest competition is the A10, released in late 2017. This phone has decent audio quality, great video and image stabilization, and a phenomenal camera lens. It performs better in low-light conditions than its newer counterpart. The A10's 12MP camera has an ultrawide angle lens at f/1.8 and an ultrawide-to-telephoto lens switchable between f/2.4 for wide shots and f/2.8 for telephoto shots.

The camera can take HDR shots and has optical image stabilization. There is no digital zoom, but you can do 2x digital zoom up to 10x for photos. The iPhone 11's best camera is good but not great by iPhone standards, so that's why the A10 beats it in this category.

iPhone 11: Battery life

The iPhone 11 battery capacity is 3110mAh — supposedly one of the largest capacities on a smartphone currently. However, the large capacity is not enough to last all day. You will have to charge the iPhone 11 when you have less than 15% battery life away from 100%. And even if you don't set it all morning, the battery won't last more than 7 hours with heavy use.

The iPhone 11 has a fast-charging tech called the "Smart Battery Case" that charges your iPhone faster by applying higher voltage and current faster recharge. Unfortunately, the intelligent case only works with the iPhone 11 iPhones, so you need to use a standard charger instead if you have an older model phone. Charging the iPhone 11 to 50% takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes.

But if you buy the intelligent case instead of just getting a fast charger, charging your iPhone 11 might take up to 3 hours. It allows the battery capacity to reach 10% faster than regular chargers do, but in return, it makes it more likely for your phone to overheat and shut down.

Quick points

  • A10 has 10 cores - the iPhone 11 only has 8
  • The A10 is less expensive than the iPhone 11 because of better competition from other brands
  • The iPhone 11 has a fingerprint sensor built into the screen, as opposed to the sub-par proximity sensor on the A10
  • The iPhone 11 has faster-wired charging, but both are about the same for wireless charging
  • The iPhone 11 is faster than the A10 in benchmarks
  • The iPhone 11 is more rapid, has a bigger screen and better camera than the A10
  • The A10 doesn't have a headphone jack, but it's no big deal with the new AirPods 2.
  • Apple users prefer an iPhone to the more prominent Galaxy Note 10 +
  • iPhone 11 will be a big seller because of the iPhone fatigue factor, and it has more robust brand recognition
  • Apple fans are more willing to pay more because they believe their product is superior to similar products from Samsung or Huawei.

Parting Words:

The iPhone 11 has an edge in design and build quality & is less expensive than the Galaxy A10. But it lacks a headphone jack and doesn't have a camcorder. The iPhone 11 is more convenient to use, but it's not better in terms of performance or battery life. If you want a headphone jack, the iPhone 11 is for you.
